About the Workshops/Clinics
What to expect?
All the workshops are held at Carolina Equestrian Center. The minute you get out of your car, you will know you are someplace special. You will be surrounded by pine forests and 3500 acres of Carolina preservation lands, horses, fresh air and a nourishing calm that can only come from being in nature. You can look forward to wholesome snacks and drinks to nourish your body during your workshop. Your level of participation is up to you. You may feel free to sit back, observe and learn, or take a more active approach and join in. Expect the unexpected... A songstress, a harpist, a new understanding of your life through the teachings of the horse. The feeling of Home...

Who attends?
All we ask of participants is that they have an open heart and a desire to learn and move forward. Many participants are not actively involved with horses in their lives. Workshops are the perfect time to admire these magnificent creatures in a controlled environment. Horse owners can walk away with new insights and techniques for their own horses, inspired by witnessing the relationship between Brian and Brenda. How many men attend workshops? 30% of our participants are men. In general, men relate with thoughts, not feelings. In our seminars, men have the opportunity to get more comfortable with their inner feelings and relate to life more deeply.
How can I learn from a horse?
Humans tend to judge situations as good or bad, positive or negative. This sets up blocks and keeps us from moving forward in our lives. Horses observe situations, and choose moment to moment without judgements, and move forward.
How to dress?
Dress comfortably, in layers. Workshops take place outside, or in an indoor riding arena. Being in an equine environment, close toed shoes are best. You will also want to be prepared for a short walk through the forest.
Where?

You are responsible for paying 100% of the class price if you are a 'no show'.
If you pay 100% of the class price, you can attend the course on a space-available basis on a future date at no extra charge as long as the same class is still being offered.
